Pulemelei Mound
Savai'i, Samoa
Flat-topped pyramidal stone mound. Height: 12 m. Date: Probably 1100–1400 CE, out of use by 1700–1800 CE.
Central ceremonial site; exact function uncertain. About 12 m tall on the south side and 7 m on the north, with a base of about 65 by 60 m, but the World Monuments Fund considers the construction date unknown.
